If you are looking for way to turn your screenplays into a video for under $20, you can turn your screenplay into a “video comic book” with speech bubbles. I did the complete production in Canva, and it took me less than a month, so it basically cost me $18 to make this, which is the cost of a one-month subscription to Canva.
This method is a lot like the animated comic books I made in the previous post, except there is no animation, and no voices (just speech bubbles), and no music.
To keep costs to a minimum, I just used the Canva AI tool to create the background and the characters, instead of using a separate AI imaging tool and importing the images into Canva. And when I needed a new pose for the character (aka consistent characters), I just used Canva’s AI editor to create them.
